VTOL Innovations is an innovative startup company that is dedicated to revolutionizing the Vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) industry. Our company is currently developing cutting-edge technology that is specifically designed for small and medium-size VTOL aircraft. Our technology is designed to be simple and efficient, with only few moving parts, and with a projected airworthiness life of at least 2,000 flight hours. As a result, the systems will require minimal maintenance over its service life, except for routine inspections.
In addition to having exceptionally low noise signature during all flight phases, as our VTOL aircraft will be simple in design, this will streamline its maintenance process, when needed. This feature will greatly reduce the labor and cost-intensive maintenance requirements typically associated with helicopters and winged VTOL capable aircraft operations. Additionally, our VTOL aircraft will employ a semi-conventional control system that is simpler to operate than the control systems currently used in helicopters, which will facilitate pilot training and certification, reduce training costs, and open up opportunities for cross-platform pilot certification.
Our innovative VTOL aircraft technology is expected to provide more than 20% reduction in operating costs compared to currently used helicopters. At the same time, it is projected to enable cruising at speeds, altitudes, and operating ranges comparable to those of winged aircraft, while providing the comfort and safety enjoyed by traditional winged aircraft. This makes our VTOL aircraft the ideal choice for developing future VTOL aircraft capable of performing jobs traditionally carried out by helicopters in a far more efficient manner.
